Substrate preparation
Traditional cement-based substrates must be sufficiently mature (28 days at a temperature of 23°C and RH 40%). Substrates must be flat, mechanically stable and functional. The substrate must be clean and free of all foreign substances such as paint, oil, varnish and adhesion-inhibiting materials, etc. Cleaning is carried out manually or mechanically. For new plasters, curing must be at least one week per centimetre of thickness before.
